2009 Apprentices
Nell Baldwin, Jen Drew,
Chris Gomes, and Taylor Lucas
Jen returned for her second year apprenticing at Cornerstone Farm.

She continued to represent the farm at Waterville Market and was an active member of our team, collecting SARE grant data and managing our drove (pig-latin for herd).

"This job was perfect for me because it's all about animals and farming and I really enjoyed this kind of work." --Taylor

Before coming to Cornerstone Farm, Chris had milked one teat of one goat once. Now he's comfortable milking (cows), driving steers, moving pigs and in all other aspects of our multi-species farm.

Nell also enjoyed gaining animal husbandry skills on the farm.

Both Nell and Chris are happy to speak with potential apprentices about their experiences at Cornerstone Farm.
